In an ironic celebration of the Dreamteam match we'll be taking a week off.  It's absolutely fantastic to see some form of State Of Origin back.  It may not be the ideal version but the best 44 players in the league all in one game simply should not be missed by any footy fan.  We'd like to see it played every year on Anzac Day.  It would be bigger than the Grand Final, and far bigger than even Collingwood and Essendon can hope to offer.  It would also make the Anzac Medal the most prized award in the game - the best player in the best team in the country.  And, above all, it would be the most fitting way to honour the day in a way where no football fan is left out.

Who are we?

Footy Rocks is an AFL-based dreamteam competition.  Unlike other dreamteams we don't muck about with player values and salary caps.  We keep it simple yet challenging.  Each week you simply pick a team of players IN POSITION.  Pick anybody you want but you can only have one full forward, two wings, one ruck, and so on just like a real AFL team.  Each player gets points for kicks, marks, goals and other stats which we add up to tell you your team's score at the end of the round.  It's easy and it's fun.  Check out our FAQ for more!
